2008 Ohio Housing Conference
November 5-7, 2008
Greater Columbus Convention Center
More than 1,300 industry professionals attended the 2007 Ohio Housing Conference, “Making the Connection,” co-sponsored by the Ohio Housing Finance Agency and the Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing. The conference focused on connecting attendees with valuable industry information from leading local and national experts. Special features included an industry networking reception in the exhibit hall, an after hours reception at Lifestyle Communities Pavilion, and a full track of mobile sessions where attendees could see housing and community development efforts firsthand.
Governor's Award for Excellence in Affordable Housing
OHFA Chairperson, Kimberly A. Zurz, presented Roger McCauley, Executive Director of the Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD), with the Governor's Award for Excellence in Affordable Housing in recognition of their service to the affordable housing community. COAD is a private, non-profit, community-based organization serving rural, mostly Appalachian, counties in eastern and southern Ohio. It is comprised of 17 Community Action Agencies that serve a 30 county area. The award is presented annually to an organization for continued dedication to community development and for providing affordable housing oportunities to Ohioans. (Click on picture for larger image)
