Whether you wish to express appreciation to an employee of the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, or whether you wish to express holiday wishes, the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) reminds you not to send gifts to the Agency or its employees.

OHFA staff are public employees subject to certain restrictions under Ohio's ethics laws. OHFA staff cannot accept things of value including gifts, travel, meals, or lodging from persons doing or seeking to do business with, regulated by, or interested in matters before the Agency. Please do not send any gifts to the Agency or to individual staff members at home.

In addition, it could be against the law for you to offer or give an OHFA staff member a gift. You may wish to familiarize yourself with the statutory prohibitions (Revised Code Chapter 102) against giving gifts or engaging in other actions that may be prohibited by the ethics laws in Ohio.
