Uzbekistan Delegation Learns About
Affordable Housing
Motivated by a desire to learn about affordable housing, a group of nine professionals from Uzbekistan overcame language and cultural barriers during a recent three-week visit to the United States. Seeking new ideas to support the development of the housing sector in their country, participants met with experts from OHFA, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing and the Ohio Department of Development in Columbus on June 3. The state's role in financing affordable housing and community development was the main topic for discussion and provided valuable insight for the guests. The Agency was honored to have been a part of this worthwhile opportunity to promote Ohio’s affordable housing efforts to an international audience.
