Have you Submitted the 2014 Online
Extended Use or Gap Financing Only Tenant Data?
Friday, May 1 to Avoid Noncompliance
Owners of Extended Use projects and
gap-financing only projects are required to submit the 2014 Tenant Data
via DevCo Online. Gap-financing only projects are those that do not have
Housing Tax Credits (HTC) but rather have received either HOME or Ohio
Housing Trust (OHTF) funding. OHFA will no longer accept the Excel-based
Compliance Tool to report tenant data.
- The deadline is fast
approaching. Only 4 business days are left until the tenant data is
Failure to submit the Annual Owner Report and tenant data by May 1
may result in the owner being placed on the OHFA Watch List and/or
as Not in Good Partnership status.
- If a property was sold at
any time during the 2014 reporting year, the responsible party for
completing the tenant data is the owner of record as of the close of
the 2014 reporting year or December 31, 2014.
DevCo Guide and
OHFA issued an Interactive DevCo Compliance User
Guide on January 7 to assist with the 2014 Annual Owner
Certifications and tenant data via DevCo Online. The
Guide lists general procedures such as accessing and registering in
DevCo, adding utility allowances, adding project information, completing
Tenant Income Certifications, and using the data import function (i.e.
XML upload). The interactive guide serves as the help page.
All questions regarding use of DevCo
should be sent to DevCohelp@ohiohome.org. Please be sure to
include in the subject line of the email the OHFA tracking number
(project number), project name, and a brief description of the issue.
