The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) released
several changes and updates to DevCo Online February 22, 2016.
This new release impacts the Property Listings page, Annual Reporting
Review Letters, improved readability and more. The following is a
summary of the changes.
- Corrections to Max Rent & Income
Limits on TICs - All move-in and
recertification Tenant Income Certifications (TICs) used
for the Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) display the max income and
max rent limit amount based on the 40-60 or 20-50 set-aside
selection made on the 8609s. Also improved use of HERA Special
limits based on placed in service dates and project based

Please note there are still some limits listed incorrectly on
composition updates and transfer-in events which will be
corrected in a future release.
- Search by DBA names -
When using the Property Search function, a search can be
completed using the doing business as (DBA) name. Due to current
limitations of the text field for the property name in the
online system, the DBA will not be listed in your Property
Listings or on the Property Details page (this is planned for a

Letters - Adjustments were made to make the
letters of completion, non-compliance and others related to
annual reporting more accurate.
- Awards are listed the property is an
Active Status -
This is part one of a two part fix that will improve how awards
are identified in DevCo Online. Only OHFA awards that are
currently active will be displayed on the Project Details page.
Part two will improve how funding programs are listed on events.
tenant events if the property has Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC),
LIHTC should always be checked. If the unit is a Trust Fund
(OHTF) or a HOME qualifying unit these need to checked as
funding on the event, and all other funding types do not need to
be identified on each event.

When you have items pending review, they are now identified as

listing the errors or warnings is now the Property Issues page.
& Errors Color Coded - All items listed may not
be a compliance issue. Green

and this signifies that you have an issue that needs
clarification which may or may not be compliance

Improvements with Internet Browsers -
DevCo has improved compatibility with Mozilla Firefox, Google
Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Previously DevCo was
optimized to work best with Internet Explorer.
