OHFA Board Approves Financing for Eight Housing Developments
COLUMBUS, OH - Yesterday, the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) Board approved financing from various programs to support eight housing developments to create or preserve affordable housing units throughout the state. The developments that received Board approvals for funding are:
Notheast
The Depot on Detroit: Co-developers, Flaherty & Collins Development, LLC and Northwest Neighborhoods CDC, received approval for a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan. The development, which previously received a reservation of 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) in 2023, will construct 60 new units for families in Cleveland (Cuyahoga County).
Northwest
Waterville Senior Lofts: Co-developers, Pivotal Development LLC and Neighborhood Housing Services of Toledo, Inc., received approval for a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan. The development, which previously received a reservation of 9% LIHTC in 2025, will construct 70 new units for older Ohioans in Waterville Township (Lucas County).
Southeast
Sheridan Manor Apartments: Co-developers, Wabuck Development Company, Inc. and Integrated Services for Behavioral Health, Inc., received approval for a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan. The development, which previously received a reservation of 9% LIHTC in 2024, will rehabilitate 40 units for families in South Point (Lawrence County).
Southwest
The Meadows: Co-developers, Spire Development, Inc. and County Corp, received approval for a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan. The development, which previously received a reservation of 9% LIHTC in 2025, will construct 76 new units for families in Batavia Township (Clermont County).
Paint Creek Crossing: Co-developers, Spire Development, Inc. and County Corp, received approval for a $1.75 million Housing Development Loan. The development, which previously received a reservation of 9% LIHTC in 2025, will construct 54 new units for families in Washington Court House (Fayette County).
Silver Birch of Mason: Vermilion Ohio AAL received authorization of up to $30 million in OHFA-issued Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds. This project also received an allocation of 4% LIHTC. The development will construction 120 units for affordable assisted living in Mason (Warren County).
Tyler's Creek: Co-developers, April Housing LLC and McCormack Baron Salazar, Inc, received authorization of up to $42.5 million in OHFA-issued Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds. This project also received an allocation of 4% LIHTC. The development will rehabilitate 240 units for families in Fairfield Township and City of Hamilton (Butler County).
Wildenhaus Place: St. Mary Development Corporation received approval for a $2 million Housing Development Loan as well as approval authorization of up to $8.5 million in OHFA-issued Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds. This project also received an allocation of 4% LIHTC. The development will construct 44 new units for older Ohioans in Dayton (Montgomery County).
